Trimmer Head Options

2-Line RapidLoader - Out of all of the Echo heads available, this trimmer head is the easiest to use. As the name suggests, there are 2 precut lines of which both each are 8 inches in length making loading the trimmer head super quick and super easy. For your convenience, this trimmer head fits all Echo trimmers.

Speed-Feed Head - The fastest "bump-to-advance" style available today. Reloading the trimmer head takes less than 30 seconds with no disassembly required. Balanced to perfection, you won't feel any vibration when this trimmer head is working.

High Capacity Speed-Feed Head - This is the same as the Speed-Feed head except that this option has a longer line to give you more flexibility in what and where to trim.

ECHOmatic - Fitting both straight and curved shafts, this trimmer head can hold up to 20 feet of line. Considered semi-automatic, line is automatically replaced with no manual work required on the user's part.

ECHOmatic Pro - Echo trimmers are necessary in any landscape business. Time is of the essence and this option is a great time saver. Like the ECHOmatic, this option hold up to 20 feet of line, uses the "bump-on-the-ground" design and is semi-automatic. What makes this one a winner is that it has a pre-spooled head which uses Echo Crossfire line and a traditional slot spool to wind the line. To make things easier, there are replaceable eyelets and a multiple cam-locking system with a knob for quick spool removal.

ECHO U-turn - Patented for straight shafts, the U-turn feature makes reloading so simple and quick. Simply feed the two ends of one line into the eyelets and then turn the head. Then cut the line each time you need to replace the lines.

Using Echo trimmers with the right trimmer head will allow you to get your work done without any hassle. However, you have to have a shaft to hold the head and your options are either curved or straight. Let's review the differences below.

Shaft Options

Curved - A curved shaft is great for use when trimming in corners and around fence lines.
Straight - A straight shaft is best used when needing to trim larger areas and areas that are harder to reach.

The curved shafts are preferred by homeowner's however, if a straight shaft is preferred than more power to you. Every shaft is tough, durable and lightweight.
